SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger

rated 5 of 5 stars It's small and rugged and puts out a strong signal to a satellite. If you hike alone or with other people it provides a check in ok-help or SOS. It's best made for anyone who travels the backcountry, whether you are in a car or on your feet. I highly recommend this product. I'm in the woods a lot, it may be backpacking for 5 days, an overnighter, or just a day hike. I bought the Spot Messenger for two reasons. One is to let people know where I'm at and if something happens, minor accidents or a… Full review

SPOT Connect

rated 4.5 of 5 stars I carry on my ATV in some rugged Nevada mountains. Great having the unit handy for emergency. Also use to check in with contacts. Gives loved ones a secure feeling. I try not to put too much trust in electronics out in the wild, but this unit provides a lot of comfort and trust. Full review

SPOT Connect

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Spot can remove one's fear of being stranded in a no cellphone place. It can save your life! i have had my Spot for several years and it is still just perfect.  Johannesburg, Ca, has been my go-to place.  I live in Las Vegas, Nv.  To get to Johannesburg I have two choices.  I15 and then another hi-way.  there are many wrecks on I15 and the traffic is awful.  I choose my second choice which is to drive thru Death Valley. There is little cell phone service in Death Valley so if one has a problem… Full review

SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger

rated 5 of 5 stars Important lifeline to my wife and kids. Can't recommend it enough. Works absolutely flawlessly. I used it for Greenland Kayak Expedition 2013. Best of all is the great support I received after I lost my unit during some Greenland Rolling training ;-) My wife and kids especially loves the ability to track my progress while on adventures, and discuss the various places I'm visiting. Can't recommend it enough. Full review

SPOT Personal Tracker

rated 4.5 of 5 stars i have had this SPOT for a couple of years now and I must say it gives me and my wife peace of mind. The Personal Tracker uses two Lithium batteries, wich last for about a year or more. I always replace them at the same date when the annual service renews. I use this SPOT mainly for paragliding in the Eurpoean Alps where I often fly over remote areas without cellular coverage. In case of an emergency I could alarm the rescue team and sometimes I just press the OK button and it send out a prepared… Full review
