"The 10.4 Biathlon Sport Rope by Sterling is the Bi-color version of the Marathon Sport. According to studies done by Sterling, marking the center of your rope with a felt tipped marker or other commercial ink can decrease up to 50% of the rope strength - or the energy absorption capacity of your rope. Designed for cragging, alpine routes and even big walls, the Biathlon Sport Rope is one of the more versatile ropes in Sterling's line-up.
