Dutchware Flyz Grill Top

rated 3.5 of 5 stars If you already have a compact wood stove like a TATO Gear Element I recently reviewed and you think you'd enjoy a grilled bit of protein that 1st evening out, you might want to consider a grill top that almost doesn't tip the scales at all. Can you find room for a 2 mm thick piece of 4" x 4" grill top that weighs barely over an ounce? Do you currently use a wood or twig stove? Do you enjoy a small steak or other grilled meat? If you answered yes to any of those questions Dutch over at Dutchware… Full review

Optimus Sparky

rated 5 of 5 stars This little igniter works great to light my alcohol stoves. The recommended approach is to dip it in the alcohol, lift about six inches while holding it down, and click. You then have a match in which to light your alcohol stove. (Tilting the igniter upright after dipping it in the alcohol is not recommended and could lead to injury.) This igniter works even when wet. You can drop it in the river and then pick it up, shake it off, and then light your stove. It makes carrying lighters, waterproof… Full review

Edelrid Valve Cartridge Adaptor

rated 3.5 of 5 stars A great gadget that could potoentially save a lot of money with regular use. This is a great idea that could potentially save a lot of money. I scour car boots for unwanted gas cartridges that need to be pierced instead of screwing the stove into a thread. I can pick them up for peanuts. It adds weight and bulk, but it is worth it for the savings I make as it becomes much cheaper to run. It costs around £20 so it may be a while before you get your money back! The only drawback is the rubber ring… Full review

Primus Windscreen

rated 5 of 5 stars Light, easy to carry wind screen to use with the smaller backpacker stoves that use canister fuel. The picture above isn't the one I'm using, will show a pic below. This is a really nice addition to my cook kit. I actually have two of these, buying the new one recently to go in my girls' kit. I'm trying to teach them to be self sufficient while backpacking, so I've set them up with the Primus ExpressStove set you see in the pics below. I like how this wind screen nests inside the cook kit essentially… Full review

Jetboil Hanging Kit

rated 4 of 5 stars No more balancing acts. It's nice to be able to hang the stove and not worry about it getting knocked over. I guess you just have to worry about bumping into it. I camp in a lot of areas that are very rocky and not level. This helps a lot. You can cook, stir, pour and even eat out of the cup while its suspended. Durable materials and a compact pack size. I keep mine in the packaging it came in. I find it a big expensive for what it is (like most Jetboil accessories), but it's worth having it. I… Full review

BioLite CampStove Grill

rated 3 of 5 stars Easy to use but impractical size and weight. Cooks great food, but of its weight and bulkiness it is impractical to go on long hikes and camping trips. It is also hard to cook multiple things because of its small surface area. That being said, however, I love cooking on it and it gives food a taste even charcoal can't produce. Great product. BioLite CampStove Grill

rated 4 of 5 stars The grill is a great feature of the Biolite CampStove. It's simple to use once one has learned how to maximize the way the grill works and heats. The grill makes a great base camp/tailgating/car camping grill. The grill is specifically designed to be used with the BioLite CampStove. Once the stove is operating and hot, the grill is a cinch to use. Just place the grill on the stove properly, allow to heat, and grill away. BioLite says that the grill has three zones — high, medium, and low, and… Full review

Evernew Ti DX Stand

rated 5 of 5 stars Used the Ti DX stand in combination with my Trangia stove and it is a tight but entirely workable fit! The stand was purchased to use with a Trangia stove; not the Everenew Ti stove. I was apprehensive that it might not fit but went for it anyways. It does fit, rides higher than the Evernew in the lower support but still maintains a good distance from the upper pot support. Very happy with fit, finish and weight! Full review

Square Hot Pad 8

rated 4 of 5 stars When using a white gas stove snow camping it's a problem to keep the stove from melting into the snow. This products seems to solve that problem. For years I've had the problem of my Whisperlite, and before that, Simmerlite white gas stoves sinking into the snow as I cooked.  I have an MSR Trillium base and have tried several other things along with it to try to prevent the melting problem. The Trillium, even with the aluminum reflector that comes with a stove, is not enough if I'm melting a lot… Full review
