Summary
Great base layers for both warmth and comfort. Fit extremely well and keep out the cold!
Pros
- Great warmth
- Flexibility
Cons
- Hard to find in stores.
I hate the cold weather. Despise it, which is odd, considering I chose to move to Chicago 23 years ago and have stayed put. Natives have long implored me, "You have to dress for it!"
Another problem — I have hated layering. Base layers bind, they bunch, they constrict, and, they haven't seemed to help all that much against the cold. But at long last, I have found the answer-Terramar TXO Body-Sensors shirts and pants.
Unbelievably warm, they fit like a second set of skin. They move with me, so much that I can do cardio, ride my bike, jog in sub-zero wind chill. During activity, they breathe extremely well and handle sweat and moisture. They also have excellent odor control, and though I haven't had them that long, seem to be very durable and have held their own through multiple washings and are well manufactured.
Again, the main thing here for me is comfort, which these provide, and great warmth. They have changed my whole outlook on layering and dressing for Chicago winter weather. No more sitting indoors and waiting for spring, I'm out and about, moving freely and the chill bounces off me like I'm invincible to the "hawk".
Bring it on, Jack Frost. I'm wearing Terramar.
