Helix Half-Zip Shirt

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Works well when worn in conjunction with other layers. This is a base layer and when combined with short sleeved shirt underneath and rain shell or down on top, you'll be prepared for most situation This is a base layer, but should not be confused with layers such as Under Armour necessarily. This is not skin tight, but does hug the body more than other layers may.  When I wear this with a shirt (perhaps on cooler mornings) or with a shirt and jacket (those 40 degree days), it works well. I am… Full review

Helix Crew Tee

rated 4 of 5 stars I was looking for a wicking, synthetic, lightweight, warm-/hot-weather t-shirt that I could wear on the trail as well as on the town. Found it, to a tee. Sorry... I already had a few synthetic tees, but they were the athletic/basketball kind. Loose, kind of thick. They served their purpose. But as the mercury rises in the city, I wanted something I could wear around the 'hood and not look like I was going to the gym. I'm a huge fan of Sierra Trading Post, so I started perusing their site and found… Full review

Thermawool Beanie

rated 5 of 5 stars If you're always having difficulty keeping your ears covered, this hat is for you! Soft, stretchy merino wool keeps your head warm... and cool! Thank you, Trailspace, this beanie is it! It is very comfortable, stretchy, and keeps my ears warm/covered! I was initially concerned because the hat was itchy, but after one wash this went away. I wear this hat around the house all of the time because of its comfort. The hat tends to stay the way you adjust it, whether you want it loose at the top of your… Full review

SmartSilk Crew

rated 3 of 5 stars I received this as a review giveaway, THANK YOU, Trailspace!!! This a very nice base layer. Very thin and stretchy, great for multiple layering. With the proper layering, these can be used almost year round. Skin tight, without compression. Medium is a great fit for slim built 5'10" 155lbs. I recently received this base layer as a giveaway, THANK YOU, Trailspace!!! This is an initial review...  I find this base layer extremely comfortable. They are lightweight, stretchy, and wick very well. They… Full review

SmartSilk Tights

rated 3 of 5 stars Initial Review: These base layer bottoms are a very good skin tight fit, without the feel of compression. Waistline is a little weird, the inner elastic can fold inside the outer. I found the product to have begun pilling before the first wash...? Overall durability is a concern. If they last, I will happily rate this product to at least four stars. Medium is a great fit for slim built 5'10" 155lbs. I recently received this base layer as a giveaway, THANK YOU, Trailspace!!! This is an initial review... … Full review
