The North Face Nuptse Heights Down Jacket is made to tackle nasty weather in the big city, but its look is strictly active-chic. Proudly featuring the latest in high-tech insulation--water-resistant down--the Nuptse Heights can easily handle Mother Nature's nastiest visits to the urban sprawl. The Nuptse Heights' face fabric is a durable nylon with a water-resistant treatment that shrugs off light rain and snow. The lining is a recycled polyester taffeta with a water-resistant treatment that allows the lining to dry more quickly. Of course, the feature that you'll love the most is the warm and water-resistant 700-fill down insulation. It retains its loft when exposed to moisture and stays dry 17 times longer than untreated down, so you stay warm no matter what the weather's doing. The North Face gave the Nuptse Heights internal elastic cuffs and a drawcord hem to seal out drafts and allow you to customize the jacket's fit a bit. The jacket also has two zippered hand pockets and and internal media pocket to protect your phone or MP3 player. The media pocket includes a headphone cord guide to keep the cord from getting tangled up. - Backcountry.com
