Hurakan Paclite Jacket

rated 3.5 of 5 stars A lightweight breathable shell at a mid range price, this pretty well sums up the Under Armour Hurakan Jacket. It isn’t spectacular, but it is a work horse and will get the job done. Utilizing Gore-tex Paclite technology this shell is quite breathable and well suited to hiking, trail running, backpacking, and general outdoor use. Here we have a jacket that has been trimmed of less desirable features to minimize weight, but the functionality of what remains makes for a solid performing shell. This… Full review

Storm Moonraker GORE-TEX Jacket

rated 4 of 5 stars Gortex says it all, this jacket is totally waterproof. Excellent storm collar and hood. Huge pit zips for ventilation. After waiting all summer to test out the Under Armor Storm Moonraker Goretex jacket I finally got a chance during my Tour of Mont Blanc hiking through France, Italy, and Switzerland. Knowing that rain could be an issue in September in Europe I knew I would be bringing along a wind and rain jacket. Living in dry California opportunities to test three different jackets I had received… Full review

CoolSwitch Trail Long Sleeve Tee

rated 4 of 5 stars Very light and comfortable. I tend to sweat quickly but I didn't get overheated even though it is a long sleeve. When I did sweat it wicked it away just like I had hoped it would. Great base layer. I found this long sleeve very comfortable and light. I don't tend to like long sleeve gear if I can avoid it, but this product didn't annoy me at all. I tend to sweat rather quickly, but that wasn't an issue with this at all. As quick as I would sweat it would remove enough moisture that I didn't get… Full review

CoolSwitch Trail Short Sleeve Tee

rated 3.5 of 5 stars A shirt that holds up well to the rigors of the hot summer hiking trails, but may not be quite as revolutionary as the marketing materials suggest. Conditions:I’ve worn this CoolSwitch Trail Short Sleeve Tee repeatedly for three months during a rather hot and humid summer with temps regularly above 90°F (32°C) and humidity levels northward of 80%. I’ve hiked (at least 40 miles/64km), mountain biked, climbed, and even played basketball in this shirt in order to test its breathability, comfort,… Full review

ArmourVent Trail Short

rated 4 of 5 stars These shorts excel as the temps rise, with no riding, no chafing, and no cause for excessive sweating. The hybrid waistband stands out as simple technology that makes these shorts not only highly comfortable, but also highly practical. Conditions: I’ve worn these shorts repeatedly for three months during a rather hot and humid summer with temps regularly above 90°F (32°C) and humidity levels northward of 80%. I’ve hiked, paddled, swam, mountain biked, climbed, and even played a pick-up game… Full review
