HammockGear Incubator 20°

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Highly compressible down filled three-quarter underquilt made me comfortable in my Hennessy Hammock in cool weather. Quality made American product. Full review

UnderGround Quilts Zeppelin 20°F

rated 5 of 5 stars The 66 inch "7/8 length" 20-degree under quilt is a weight and space savings option for the not-too-tall hammock camper. At 5'8" I find that I get almost full length coverage. http://www.undergroundquilts.com/uq/default.html Suffice to say, I'm a big fan of Underground Quilts Outdoor Equipment! Over the past 4 or 5 years I've bought five tarps, three under quilts, and one top quilt from them. That's enough to have a good grasp of the company and the people behind it, their product lines, their quality… Full review

Therm-a-Rest Slacker Hammock Warmer

rated 4 of 5 stars Therm-a-Rest’s Slacker Hammock Warmer is a lightweight, quick attachment to cut the chill on mild summer evenings. It is not an under quilt, nor does it provide three-season insulation. What it does, it does well. However, what it does is limited and is very expensive for a few degrees of comfort. A Warmer, NOT an Underquilt Therm-a-Rest is coming in rather late to the hammock game. Rather than target avid backcountry hammock users— who tend to rely on cottage industry manufacturers—marketing… Full review

Jacks 'R' Better Greylock 3

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Proven comes to mind when considering products from Jacks R Better, and the Greylock 3 demonstrates that to a tee. The Jacks were there with innovative products from the beginning of the rise in popularity of hammocks for camping. The Greylock 3 has been around for quite a while and is designed to keep the hammock hanger's backside warm with large baffles full of lofty, compressible, and now water resistant down. If you hang a hammock in the wild or in your backyard in temps down to the 20s odds… Full review

Jacks 'R' Better Greylock 3

rated 5 of 5 stars As a lightweight bottom insulation this is great! I purchased it because it was the 3/4 length and it works well for the way I hammock sleep. It's a quality product made by guys you can speak to directly and who stand by their craftsmanship. I use this paired with an ENO DoubleNest hammock. For my height the length of the underquilt covers from neck/shoulders to below my knees. It is in my opinion very wide wrapping up nicely around me. Setup is very simple and intuitive once attached to the hammock… Full review

Jacks 'R' Better Greylock 3

rated 5 of 5 stars A high quality, 3/4-length, down UnderQuilt demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship. Exceeds similar products I have tested. The Greylock 3 supports my premise that America's cottage industry providers exceed most items that are mass-produced. Jacks 'R' Better (JRB) is a cottage industry manufacturer of hammocks and hammock products. Its reputation is well-known and, quite rightly, excellent. Having compared this product to the ENO Ember, JRB proves that many cottage industry companies provide better… Full review

HammockGear Incubator 20°

rated 5 of 5 stars This is a solid hammock underquilt for pretty much any weather situation I find myself in here in the Pacific NW. I've used it winter camping, as well as through the spring and summer. I got this during Hammock Gear's annual Cyber Monday sale last fall for a significant savings off the normal price. And then I waited...and waited some more, which was completely understandable considering the huge number of orders I am sure they received. A month later, I received my quilt in the mail and made plans… Full review

Eagles Nest Outfitters Ember 2 Underquilt

rated 4 of 5 stars The Ember Underquilt does what it's supposed to do. It reduces the effects of cold temperatures on the underside of a hammock, due to the heat loss. It's designed to insulate the bottom and the sides of the hammock, helping to keep the hammock user warmer. I used the ENO Ember Underquilt on a recent trip, combined with an ENO DoubleNest hammock, Guardian Bug Net, and Dry Fly rainfly.  My sleeping bag was a Mountain Hardwear Lamina +35.  I slept in the hammock fully dressed, with a fleece jacket… Full review

Eagles Nest Outfitters Blaze Underquilt

rated 3.5 of 5 stars The ENO Blaze underquilt will allow you to enjoy using your hammock well into 3 season and some milder 4 season use. Simple to use, lightweight, and well constructed, the ENO Blaze underquilt will keep you warm so that you can get that wonderful night’s sleep you expect from your hammock. What’s Included? In the package you will receive the underquilt, a stuff sack, and a storage bag. Summary: I tested the ENO Blaze Underquilt for a total of 18 nights, six of these nights were in the backcountry,… Full review
