I wish they would bring this boot back! Italian made and there hasn't been anything like this boot with regards to form, fit, and function. It lasted me over 10 years and I hate the new clunky styles Vasque has for backpacking boots.
The new Sundowner is horrible in fit and is very heavy.

There was no break in time, no blisters, waterproof, light, and I didn't even feel like they were on my feet. Solid rubber soles that griped even the sandiest sandstone. I hiked Angels Landing without hesitating for one minute that these boots would fail.

Not with the new Sundowners. They feel like clown shoes. The old version felt like bedroom slippers.
