Mad River Outrage X

rated 4.5 of 5 stars It is faster than some others and with the soft chines very forgiving for beginning and intermediate paddlers. Larger than its younger cousin the Outrage, it is capable of self supported trips and is better than others for those big water runs like the Grand Canyon. Mohawk Canoes Probe 13

rated 4 of 5 stars This boat is a favorite of many in our club, though some prefer the shorter version. It surfs easily and has great secondary stability. Smaller paddlers may wish it was narrower for cross strokes. It has less speed than, for instance, a MR Outrage or Outrage X. It is faster than an Impulse or Prophet. It is a high volume boat capable of self supported river trips. Full review
