User Review: Wigwam Unisex Merino Comfort Hiker Crew

Rating: rated 3.5 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $10

Summary

Nice sock, and super-comfy. One of my pairs developed a hole in the heel only on the third or fourth trip out (looked like a manufacturing error). But I sent it back to Wigwam and they sent a replacement quickly. The others are holding up pretty well.

Pros

  • Comfy
  • Warm
  • Sturdy elastic
  • Nice fit

Cons

  • Durability
  • Too warm sometimes

This sock feels amazing when you first put it on. It seems to stay that way too. I've been using these socks for several months in 20's-40's and they've performed well.

The problem I described above was the only issue I've had with them. Other pairs are hanging in there.

I like the elastic in the leg/ankle area. It's nice, thick, and kinda tight. Just right, really. The rest of the sock doesn't get all weirdly-shaped, as some wool socks tend to do.
