Diabetic Walker

rated 5 of 5 stars I've had multiple foot surgeries and now have subsequent problems findings shoes to fit or that I can walk in. Therefore, finding a new pair of shoes takes a lot of time, trial, and error. I've almost run out of options, and was hesitant to order on line just because I knew I'd probably have to return them I have had plantar fasciitis for a year+ and found that these slippers make walking less painful. I also believe that by ordering a new pair as soon as I see "wear" that they are helping me to… Full review

Thinsulate Beanie

rated 5 of 5 stars This is the #1 prized possession in my pack. I carry it 365 days a year, no matter how hot things are supposed to get. It is flexible, lightweight, and warm. I love love love this beanie. Unbeknownst to me, one of my kids stuffed it in a book bag in her closet, and I couldn't find it. I went to REI and bought a new one within the day. I must have this beanie around all the time. Now, I have two of them! One is always in my backpack ready to go, the other in the car.  It is comfortable and warm. Full review

Rebel Fusion Quarter Sock

rated 2 of 5 stars An all-in-one sock and liner that wore out quickly and failed to live up to its claims of blister free hiking. I purchased my first pair of Wigwam socks earlier this summer at a local outdoor supplier. I spent a considerable amount of time in the store comparing the Rebel Fusion Quarter socks to other Wigwam products, as well as to similar products from SmartWool and a few other brands. What attracted me to this particular sock was: They were on sale (as were all Wigwam socks in the store that weekend). Full review

Gobi Liner Crew

rated 4 of 5 stars I hate blisters. These liners do an awesome job providing slick surface to rub in my boots besides my heels as well as keeping them dry by wicking away moisture. Nothing ruins a hike faster than a blister. Once the hot spot starts, it is all I am thinking about. After trying most remedies out there, I decided to try these synthetic liners. Wow! They are wonderful. I haven't had any blisters and my feet are not pruney after hiking all day. The liners are made from 100% polypropylene and like silk,… Full review

Merino Comfort Hiker Crew

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Nice sock, and super-comfy. One of my pairs developed a hole in the heel only on the third or fourth trip out (looked like a manufacturing error). But I sent it back to Wigwam and they sent a replacement quickly. The others are holding up pretty well. This sock feels amazing when you first put it on. It seems to stay that way too. I've been using these socks for several months in 20's-40's and they've performed well.  The problem I described above was the only issue I've had with them. Other pairs… Full review
