Fabric: 3 ply Gore-tex taffeta
Price Paid: $240 currently
I've worn these for three years of winter ice climbing, and one expedition to Bolivia. Articulated knees, drop seat, full side zip design, and the cut allows easy movement. The 3-layer fabric has no reinforcements on knees or seat, but I have yet to hurt them. My only complaint is that the zip fly could be a little longer. Simple, sturdy, cut for action, and the price is right.
