I took one up to Hinchinbrook Island in Queensland and walked the Thorsburne Trail with it. Load was about 14 lb and the 4-day trip was rain from day one to four and if you know North Queensland rain it was a cyclone. Never got wet and never leaked.

Great daypack or for ultralights. Now has compression straps and is much better for it. This pack is now used for my wife as it can take all her clothes and more for overnighters. Very rugged, comfortable.
