Impression Solo

rated 5 of 5 stars This is a well made, eight-foot-long paddle made for solo canoeing. It is a very strongly and beautifully made paddle. I just finished paddling the Mississippi River from Lake Itasca and the Venice, Louisiana, in an 18-foot canoe and spent many days fighting a south wind and the waves there would sometimes be so strong they would push me back. With my Bending Branch Solo Canoe Paddle I was able to make miles and fight my way down the Mighty Mississippi River on days I would otherwise have been wind… Full review

rated 4 of 5 stars Great paddle very light. Bright color (I like to be seen on the water), if you know what I mean. Nice tapered grip. I have had this paddle and several other brands over the years and now it seems I always grab the Infusion over the others. It has a lot of miles on it and other than a few scratches on the blade it looks and acts as if it was brand new. Love how light this composite paddle is. The handles are slightly oval rather than round, which helps with maintaining grip position. Full review

BB Special

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Great bang for the buck in this paddle. While it isn't the lightest or fanciest paddle on the market, it's a great workhorse that is easy to use for hours and hours. Think of this as the old diesel work horse that doesn't run at high RPM, but produces massive torque! I wanted a better paddle to take on my Missouri Breaks than the paddles that came with the used canoe I bought, since they really were not comfortable (as I learned on a 50-mile Ross Lake trip I had taken two years earlier).¬† So, I… Full review

BB Special

rated 5 of 5 stars Paddling a fully loaded canoe, two people, gear for camping, two can be a tough slog. Traditional paddles we had moved the boat just fine, but not as efficiently, or as comfortably as the BB specials! The paddle is beautiful to look at, and beautiful to use. It is more efficient than our old, straight paddles; as we get older, and our shoulders show more wear and tear, we appreciate the bent shaft paddles. They are strong, well made, and easy to use. There is an adjustment period to using… Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars Very durable and reliable. nNo complaints at all. Great first paddle, but it is all any kayaker could ever need. It's a workhorse. It's that simple. I have not had a single problem with it thus far and I have been kayaking and fishing the local creeks and rivers and can say that it makes a great small creek paddle as well. No bends or dents after being put through the wringer for the last 6 months. I have even used it as a shovel on more than one occasion to dig holes for going to the bathroom and… Full review
