Caper T

rated 5 of 5 stars Now discontinued for some time, this was Dagger's original whitewater Royalex boat. If you are able to locate a used one, I would encourage you to purchase this fine piece of a legendary canoe maker's history and use it! I've owned my Dagger Caper for over ten years now and couldn't be happier with it. I am not an expert paddler and have only used this boat on up to Class III+ whitewater. I frequently paddle this boat on mild whitewater and it is a joy. I paddle mainly on the Hiwassee River, Nantahala… Full review

Axis 10.5

rated 5 of 5 stars Perfect crossover kayak. Just what I was looking for! I kayak the waters of northern Arkansas and southern Missouri, so I wanted a kayak that would do well on lakes or on Class I to III rapids. I found just what I was looking for with this one! I also like to do nature photography, and the skeg makes a big difference in keeping me on track toward my subject. The seat is adjustable and very comfortable, even during a 10-hour float. I am a 57-year-old woman, and I wanted one light enough I could… Full review

Katana 10.4

rated 5 of 5 stars The plastic device on the front cockpit coaming is useful to bungie your paddle to the kayak for brief periods of time. Lay your paddle down 90 degrees to the longitudinal axis of the boat and then hook the bow bungie chord into the plastic device to lock in your paddle. The Katana is easy to outfit and the fitting can be dialed-in pretty tight because of all the pads and shims Dagger provides. I have a longer rec/touring 13 footer to use when I want to go fast in the lake or on swift moving water. Full review

Zydeco 11.0

rated 4 of 5 stars The Dagger Zydeco 11 is a great recreational kayak that has the comfort and features usually only found on more expensive boats. Although it can feel sluggish, it tracks and maneuvers well for a boat under 12 feet. The Dagger Zydeco 11 is a sturdy, well made recreational kayak with the features of more expensive kayaks, yet at a reasonable price. With a roomy cockpit, knee/thigh padding, easily adjustable foot rests, and a padded and adjustable seat, the Zydeco keeps you comfortable even for long… Full review

Katana 10.4

rated 4.5 of 5 stars I purchased this boat for flexibility on small creeks, rivers, and some surf play as an alternate to my touring sea kayaks. I am very pleased with this boat. This boat is not a rec boat, yet is for an experienced kayaker. I live on a river where the flow varies day to day due to dams/flood control. Some days it is a grinder, others it is swift and dangerous. I purchased the Katana 10.4 as an alternative to the expedition touring kayaks that I have. Spoiled by the speed and tracking of a sea kayak,… Full review
