The Prowire if the lightest of our current batch of biners.

- GearX.com

Easy clipping, low weight, and a functional design make the DMM Prowire Quickdraw a great choice for sport, trad, and ice climbing. Each wiregate carabiner has a low gate mass to keep them from vibrating open in a fall or freezing shut when you're ice climbing. The Prowire's 22kN Dyneema sling has a fully open design that twists freely to reduce the possibility of back clipping when your cam is buried deep in a crack. No matter what type of climb you're on, the 2.9oz DMM Prowire helps you get it done.

- Backcountry.com

DMM's lightest carabiner, the Prowire, joins up with a lightweight and strong Dyneema sling for the ultimate in ultralight quickdraws. Narrow 11mm Dyneema slings, rated at 22kN, are incredibly strong, lightweight and resistant to moisture and UV light for long-lasting service. Integral, tadpole-shaped rubber insert in sling keeps rope-side carabiner in proper orientation to help prevent cross-loading. Hot-forged 7075 aluminum is formed into a modified D shape with a geometry that keeps the primary axis properly loaded. Wire gate design with snag-reducing shrouded nose is easy to clip and offers minimal lashback and maximum gate clearance. Well suited to sport, traditional, alpine and winter ascents, this quickdraw's modest weight lets you carry more without becoming encumbered.
