Patagonia Women's Re-Tool Snap-T Pullover

rated 5 of 5 stars My favorite piece of clothing! Warm, soft, easy to layer. Have had this for years now and it always comes with me on any sort of trip once it gets chilly. It makes a great soft pillow or pillow cover. I have broader shoulders/long-ish arms and usually run right on the border of M/L so I got a large. It is loose enough to layer under it, while still being able to put on another outer layer. Perfect! Full review

Patagonia Men's Synchilla Snap-T

rated 5 of 5 stars This is the best jacket for the chilly fall days. Keeps me so warm that I get too hot and need to take it off. It is super cozy for the winter months inside. You'll live in it every day like I do. I even wear it during those chilly summer nights. The fit is true to size. Super cozy during the fall and winter. You cannot adjust the fit, but the fit is great as it is. In the snow, you would need a light rain jacket over it to make it rain proof. There isn't much breathability for use during exercise… Full review

Patagonia Men's R1 Pullover

rated 5 of 5 stars The most perfect piece of outdoor clothing I've ever owned. Summer or winter I take it on every trip. I can hike in it in temps in the high 60s. Breathes very well and the deep front zip vents excess heat very well. Found an old one of these at a thrift store for $3 and got it for my ex wife. She wore it constantly for years. So I finally went and got a new one for myself. It's great for cool summer nights after setting up camp and early morning starts. The inner face is a grid fleece that lets… Full review

TAD Praetorian Hoodie

rated 4.5 of 5 stars This hoodie is incredibly warm and well built. It comes at a hefty price tag, but I feel it is well worth the price. This is a really great piece of clothing. 100% merino wool is extremely warm. I received it for Xmas, and have worn it as much as I can without looking like I never change my clothes, although even after five days of wearing, I don't notice any stink, I just feel like I need to wash it.  I find that even during a high wind, it blocks it out. When you start moving and generating some… Full review

Marmot Women's Rocklin 1/2 Zip

rated 5 of 5 stars Great pullover. I bought this only because it was on the 60% off rack at my favorite outdoor sports store. A week later I was wearing it on a weekend overnight trip to Big South Spoon and I was shocked at how lightweight and warm it turned out to be. I hiked two days with a thin base layer under in 35 degree temps and was warm. I've worn it a few more times on overnights and it's just an awesome pullover to have. This thing is lightweight and warm. This has become my go-to cold weather gear. My… Full review

Patagonia Men's Better Sweater 1/4-Zip

rated 5 of 5 stars So warm, on most days you won't need a jacket. Because I live in Northern California, on most days the temps don't get below 40 degrees (f) even in the winter. So, on a cold day, my choice has been either a thick jacket that had me sweating if I did any kind of hiking or climbing or a long sleeve tee that wasn't warm enough. The Better Sweater is thick, which means it's warm and durable. I don't worry about wearing a hole in the elbows and I don't need a jacket. Because it's fleece, it's pretty… Full review

RailRiders Backcounty Micro Fleece

rated 5 of 5 stars I wear a lot of fleece. This is my current favorite, over the fleeces I own by Patagonia, L.L. Bean, Columbia, North Face, OR, and even the old RailRiders fleece. I had four different versions of the Old RailRiders micrefleece top. It was a great piece, so I was really sad when it got discontinued a few years ago. Luckily, they brought it back in a total redesign and the Backcountry Micro Fleece was the result. I got one, wore it for a week straight, and loved it so much I ordered a second one so… Full review

Arc'teryx Konseal Hoody 3/4 Zip

rated 4 of 5 stars Hardwearing and light. Great alternative to traditional fleece. Great alternative if you like me don't want the bulk of traditional fleece but still appreciate the warmth. Sizing seems very true to size and the design allows plenty of movement even though it's quite tight fitting. The one drawback to me is that I wouldn't wear it without at least a merino t-shirt beneath on account of how the material feels on the skin. Then again it's supposed to be a middle layer. Still would be nice with the… Full review

Patagonia Men's Synchilla Snap-T

rated 5 of 5 stars I've had this fleece since 5th grade. I'm now four years out of college (that's 15 years!) and it hasn't begun to show wear. Just buy one. For those of you who still want to know more about this fleece after reading the opening summary, it is true...I've had this thing for 15 years and I've worn it in all sorts of weather doing all sorts of activities. Yard work, hiking/camping, wearing it to football games, you name it. This thing has been with me through lots of life — campfires with friends,… Full review
