Manufacturer's Description:
The Gossamer Gear SilTwinn is our old friend the SpinnTwinn cloned in silnylon. Other than the fabric change, they are exactly the same. The result is a well established, elegantly functional tarp design that weighs just a bit more and costs a little less. Silnylon is more forgiving when pitching, but may need to be re-tensioned when damp or wet, has about the same waterproofness as our spinnaker, and is quieter and softer than new spinnaker.

The SilTwinn provides plenty of room for two, and offers an amazing amount of space for the solo hiker at NO REAL WEIGHT PENALTY! Imagine carrying a two person shelter that only weighs 11 oz and having all that room to yourself? Combine the SilTwinn with a lightweight bivy and/or a Gossamer Gear Bug Canopy and you could weather anything a normal 3 season hiker would encounter, including light snow!
