"The Hi-Tec® Ascent backpacking boots provide a waterproof, breathable environment to keep your feet cool and dry during long days on the trail. Special eVENT® membrane contains millions of microscopic vents providing breathability you notice on the trail during real-world use. While eVENT's pores allow perspiration vapor to freely escape, water from outside the boot is unable to penetrate the membrane.
