Made from Ibex’s own PEAK Climawool, the Vim Hybrid Jacket is two jackets in one. The front part is a lightweight, water-resistant—yet breathable—soft-shell jacket and in the back, you have breathable New Zealand Merino wool that wicks sweat to keep you dry and comfortable. It is a form-fitting jacket but does so without compromising movement or comfort and still leaves room for adding a base layer underneath.

It is not overly-loud with pockets and useless frippery, delivering, instead, two nice sized pockets for warming hands and a zipper chest pocket for storing keys or the ubiquitous iPod. Adjustable Velcro tab closures on the sleeves lock out cold air.

I live in Minnesota and use this jacket for cross-country skiing, winter biking and running, paired up with the matching Vim Hybrid pant and Indie Zip T.

It's also suited to a breadth of endless activities: climbing, mountaineering, snowshoeing, etc.
