"Integral Designs Siltarp3 is designed for adventure racers who need an extremely lightweight, versatile tarp to protect them from the elements. The Siltarp3 protects 4-5 people in a semi-enclosed A-frame, or it can become a wind/rain shelter for a larger group. The Siltarp3 is a 10x12ft rectangular tarp made from ultralight waterproof nylon. At 20 ounces, it's light enough to take on any trip. The Siltarp3's center seam provides extra strength but does require manual sealing (Silnet seam sealant included). One lightweight nylon tie loop sewn to the reinforced center patch and 20 lightweight nylon webbing loops sewn to the corners and along the sides facilitate a variety of setups on trekking poles, paddles, avalanche probes, or trees."
