- River Sports Outfitters

Reincarnated for the 2015 season, the Jackson Zen Kayak takes the middle path between the creek running prowess of the popular Karma creek boat, and the river running speed of the original Zen Kayak. The result is an easy to roll boat that stays true to your line, hovers over boils, and will run creeks and rivers with speed. Plenty of rocker in the bow keeps this boat on top of the water, and its flared sidewalls make it great for beginners who are just learning how to roll in the pool. The newly designed hull allows it to effortlessly float through boils and eddys, so you stay true to your line. Fully rigged for whitewater, the Zen rocks Jackson Kayak's Uni-shock bulkhead, which allows the paddler to make quick adjustments to the foot pad while seated. It also absorbs big impacts, saving the paddler's legs the brunt of the blow. A fully adjustable seat allows the paddler to dial in the perfect fit, and foam hip pads provide additional protection to the sides of the legs. The Thermo Uchannel hull support is attached to the hull without any welding spots through the use of a special adhesive, resulting in an even stronger hull that won't oil can easily. Great for beginners, river runners, or paddlers looking to win creek races, the Zen kayak will take you to your whitewater nirvana.
