Here's what other sites are saying:

K2 made the Hardside Ski to bust crud and hold a hard, fast line through anything you encounter in the backcountry. A blended wood core gives this ski a smooth and consistent flex, All-Terrain Rocker keeps your tip from hooking at speed, and metal laminate construction encourages precise control. This ski inspires confidence whether you're hiking a steep, icy chute that's accessible from the tram or bagging soul turns through the corn off a skin track far beyond the resort.

While we remember the powder days, the truth is, we ski on crud more often. The K2 Hardside gets you through the cold, hard days and shines when you finally get your powder reward!

At 98 mm underfoot, the HardSide is the narrowest ski built with the Hybritech sidewall construction. A few short years ago, it would have been considered a powder ski, and it certainly won't disappoint on the deep days. However, it's designed for skiers who's off piste playgrounds consist more of cut up crud and firm snow than bottomless powder, so we gave it slight shovel rocker for versatility, and a powerful metal laminate construction for race room precision, stability and edge hold.
