Manufacturer's Description

The Armadillo is a short, compact sled that shrinks down into a size that can be thrown onto your back. The hull is constructed of high density polyethylene and is virtually indestructible.

This "civvy" model is great for towing smaller expedition or weekend sized loads, or ski touring with kids. A favorite with families or those with disabled older children as well. Lighter weight for maximum energy savings.

Used extensively in snowy places worldwide since 1979, Kifaru Sleds have proven their mettle for hauling everything from cargo to kids. They've endured the torture tests of search and rescue teams, the marines, major peak climbs and cross-continent trekkers - and they are ALL still in use.
