Petzl Noctilight

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Useful addition to a small Petzl headlamp, which turns it into a versatile lantern. Nice to have for those who need a night lamp or simply a soft light source in their tent or at picnic table. Usually we travel in backcountry with our child, and it’s necessary to have a night light in the tent. Our two Petzl Tikka R+ headlamps don’t fit well for that, as they are too powerful, and even the red light doesn’t work well as a night light. Also we needed a diffused light for using inside the tent… Full review

Nite Ize MoonLit LED Micro Lantern

rated 5 of 5 stars I use this on the trail when the weather makes it dim. I also hang in at least 2 corners of my tent. Useful for the needs at night when you don't want a full light that may wake your camp mates. Because I use a in tent tinkle jar, this is a must for proper lighting for the necessary!! Also can be useful in very dark areas at night to guide where -perimeter , tarp and tent lines are.  I even use these great little lights for night walks and hikes. Full review

Nite Ize MoonLit LED Micro Lantern

rated 4.5 of 5 stars With very little modification, this has become my "go to" light source. Over the years I've found that I'm needing less and less light when in camp. I don't backpack in the dark, so a bright light isn't needed...just something to allow me to find things in my tent on moonless nights or to get me far enough away from camp in the middle of the night when nature calls. I've gone from carrying a 5-D cell Maglite and 2-D cell cheapo backup flashlights when I was a kid, to smaller flashlights, to fewer… Full review

UCO A-120

rated 3.5 of 5 stars UCO has created a nice, decent headlamp. The Cree LED lighting is quite bright. The "Infinity Dial" is an excellent innovation. The drawbacks in this headlamp have kept me from loving it as much as other lights I have used over the years. I received the A-120 as part of a prize package for being the May 2106 Reviewer of the Month. The light was tested on several overnight trips since that time. It was also tested once on an early morning run, when my regular running light could not be found (rotten… Full review

Ozark Trail 250 Lumen Flashlight

rated 1 of 5 stars I bought the 250 lumen with slide focus on 12/24/16. It looked quality and worked great for about 1 week of just sitting on the nightstand and me flicking it on once in a while. It just stopped working. It works in various modes when it does work. This light has never been dropped or mistreated. It looks like it's never been used.   I call anything that just quits working for no reason JUNK. A waste of my money. Please stay away from Ozark Trail products. E. SPILLER. Full review

GoMotion Orion

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Perfect companion to early morning runs! Disclosure: The author of this review is a brand ambassador for GoMotion. I have had the opportunity to use the Orion light belt for about 6 months now and I am super impressed with its performance. I run primarily in the early morning hours—and I like to be seen while crossing roads! I normally run with at least one doggie running companion, so I feel an extra responsibility to make sure we are all safe and visible.  The light has three brightness settings… Full review

Suaoki Solar Panel Foldable LED Lantern

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The Suaoki solar powered lantern is so versatile because you can use the lantern as a flashlight, a tent light, and light on a stand and so much more. Also I like that it has solar panels to charge it during the day, but it also had a USB port to charge it with shore power or a battery bank. When I first received the Suaoki solar lantern, I was expecting it to be bigger than it actually was. I guess I was comparing it to the size of a regular camping lantern. This lantern has 3 solar panels on each… Full review

Petzl Reactik +

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The Petzl Reactik Plus incorporates Petzl's reactive technology light settings with the added feature of being Bluetooth compatible to pair the light with the MyPetzl Light app. I highly recommend this light and it performs well in a multitude of activities ranging from hiking and snowshoeing to backcountry ski touring. Background Details: The Petzl Reactik Plus is a headlamp that incorporates Petzl's Reactive lighting technology which adjusts lighting output based on user need. The light has a… Full review
