Equatorial Pant

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The Mountain Khakis Equatorial Pant is made for the tropics, but is equally adept in the mountains. Insanely lightweight fabric, though tough as nails. My go-to pants. I wanted to post a review on these MK pants to encourage others to add them to their "must have" list. I actually won a Mountain Khakis gift certificate on another website to review gear, so I was able to choose whatever MK product within that certificate's price range. Living in the tropics, I decided to select clothing that I could… Full review

Granite Creek Convertible Pant

rated 5 of 5 stars Most comfortable convertibles I have ever purchased! I was looking for a new pair of convertable pants for my upcoming trip to Maine. While in Wyoming I made a stop at Sierra Trading Post and picked up these MK for around $55. I'd heard good things about their products and knew they were from Jackson, WY. So I picked a pair up. First thing I noticed is that they felt very durable to the touch, but not excessively heavy. Some of these nylon pants feel like they are made from pantyhose material and… Full review

Snake River Convertible Pant

rated 5 of 5 stars My first pair of convertible pants and not for lack of trying. These are the ones though. They have dependable YKK zippers, a real button (not a snap), beltloops. They're a quieter form of nylon but they've got some guff to them, not lightweight (but not heavy). A good, durable, well constructed, well designed, convertible pant. Full review

Original Mountain Pant

rated 2 of 5 stars I was very disappointed with these pants. I've had a pair for just over a year. From the first time I washed them the canvas started to break down. You saw little pulls all over the seams. Every time you wash them they get worse until they fail. The fabric is comfortable but if they fail it's not worth the price. I too never liked the double pocket, if anything it was annoying. Also, the distance from the crotch to the waist seemed too long to me. I felt like I had a grandpas pants on, and If I… Full review

Original Mountain Pant

rated 3 of 5 stars For the price go with Carhartts. These are nice pants but not worth the price you pay. Both of the ones I own also seem to have shrunk a lot in the waist. If you need something from Jackson go with Cloudveil or a coffee mug. Full review
