Here's what other sites are saying:

Go the distance in the stretchy, cushioned Patagonia Midweight Merino Hiking Crew Sock. A touch of spandex helps the fabric flex with your foot, and soft merino and nylon helps to wick moisture while you work up a sweat in the woods.

The versatile Midweight Merino Hiking Crew Socks from Patagonia have a midweight terry-loop footbed that provides substantial cushioning. Made from a skin-friendly blend of Merino wool and nylon for exceptional breathability, airflow and rugged durability, they have excellent stretch and recovery. A mesh arch brace provides a snug, no-slip fit. The looped Lintoe construction creates the smallest and flattest seam possible for maximum toe comfort inside hiking boots. The rib-knit shaft holds the sock in place without sloughing or binding. Calf-high length.

With slimy rocks, endless climbs and descents, wet beaches and tricky route finding, the Lost Coast Trail challenges your feet and rewards your soul. These socks are our most versatile hiking socks with a plush, variable-knit construction to increase cushion to the heel and toes while banishing excess heat and moisture from the arch. Looped Lintoe(R) construction. The fabric package combines the natural performance benefits and warmth of 65% chlorine-free merino wool along with the wicking properties of 20% nylon/12% polyester/3% spandex. Height is 9.5". Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.
