Old Town Discovery 169

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Great canoe for day, weekend, and multi-day exploratory trips. Amazing way to fish, camp, and get away from the crowds. I am an avid backpacker and hiker, and at one time was extremely proud to be able to go for 10-14 days with only a 45-50 lb pack. One evening, after a few drinks at a bar/pub in Leadville, CO, a local outdoorsman mentioned he recently went out for 10 days and packed 4 thick-cut ribeyes, 6 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of champagne, 1 bottle of top-shelf tequila, cheese, bread, 18… Full review

Mad River Adventure 14

rated 3.5 of 5 stars A GREAT canoe for not only mornings fishing, but for the more die-hard paddling adventurer looking to get away from the busy life of society and venturing into the land of mountain air, soaring eagles, and trout the size of small children! I have used this particular canoe on multiple occasions both fishing hidden coves in nearby lakes to extended river trips with friends. The first thing I noticed once I sat in the canoe was how comfortable and stable it felt as I situated myself for a 20-mile… Full review

Old Town Saranac 146

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Great boat. We are a family of three that loves to kayak, but our little guy is now too large to fit in our boats with us so we opted to get a canoe for family trips. The center storage unit provides a good seat for the kid while also providing space to store lunch and drinks.   No issues for us in terms of stability as we are very used to being in canoes for fishing and lounging. I had no issues standing to cast in this boat even with others in it. The seats are comfortable, but I wish I could… Full review

Mad River Adventure 16

rated 5 of 5 stars Fantastic canoe with all the features of a high dollar canoe. Would recommend this product. Can be possibly the best I have ever used.  Full review

Old Town Saranac 160

rated 4 of 5 stars We have named this the little canoe that could! The guys here at C&S Adventures Unlimited will probably start their own navy with these boats! This is a medium to large sized canoe that can hold some serious weight. Can seat three and hold enough gear for a couple nights on the lake or river. Its wide body makes it very stable in the water. The molded flip down front and rear seat tend to be a little uncomfortable after a couple hours in the seat but that was solved with a small pillow or PFD. Full review

Old Town Charles River RX

rated 5 of 5 stars Great recreational canoe. Fits two paddlers and plenty of gear for multi-night river trips. Easy to paddle and very stable. My family and I have been doing multi-night river trips for over 15 years and until 5 years ago I always borrowed or rented my canoe. After 10 years of experience I knew exactly what I wanted to buy and it was the Old Town Charles River RX. It is the perfect size for all my gear, handles the weight plus two paddlers with ease. I have been using this canoe for the last 5 years… Full review

Old Town Saranac 146

rated 5 of 5 stars Very comfortable due to padded seat. Easy rowing canoe. Great value for the price. Bought this canoe last summer it was our first experience with a canoe. Canoe was a little tipsy to begin with but added a set of stabilizers to the sides and it made a big difference. Really liked the idea of the padded seats with backs to them, makes it more enjoyable to stay on the water for long periods of time. Full review

Mad River Journey 156

rated 4 of 5 stars Great price. Nice seats and finish. Good for camping. Seems easily damaged. Bought this boat to replace an Old Town Camper. Was a great looking boat and the price was fantastic. I use this canoe mostly on lakes with a bolt on sail kit and to transport wife, dogs, and gear to an island campsite. For us it is a useful canoe. It paddles well and tracks straight. If it were longer it would probably track straighter. Our Old Town was a 16 footer and this one tracks almost as well. It is a tad heavy but… Full review

Mad River Adventure 14

rated 4 of 5 stars Stable, comfortable, durable, but heavy canoe. I bought this canoe on craigslist. It's my first canoe and I bought it so the dog, girlfriend, and I could do some paddling trips. It has served that purpose well, and is great for fly fishing on ponds, as it is stable enough for me to stand up and cast around (little shakey at first). It also handles my dog's excitement over nearby ducks without a flinch. The back rests are comfortable and fold flat and secure for transport.   The boat carries weight… Full review
