CamelBak Better Bottle Insulated

rated 3.5 of 5 stars I like the Camelbak brand mainly for its great and easy to use lifetime warranty they have on their products. The reason why I'm only giving this 3.5 stars is because my Camelbak insulated water bottle has broken two times already. My wife and I got the Camelbak water bottle because we loved that it has a lifetime warranty on it. My wife used it for a long time until a hinge on the lid broke. We forgot about the warranty on it, so she bought another bottle, and when we finally remembered the warranty,… Full review

CamelBak Chute 1L

rated 5 of 5 stars I love this bottle. Easy to purify in, fill, and drink from. An amazing design. The new spout with the screw treads on the inside makes drinking from it easy on the lips. My Katadyn filter output fitting fits it fine. The bottle does seem to get a little more dinged up than the Nalgene, but this is purely cosmetic. Have used the one liter and .75 liter models numerous times this year, and all have performed well. My new go-to water bottle. Full review

Ultimate Direction Body Bottle Plus

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Soft sided water bottle that can be collapsed as it empties. This eliminates the sloshing sounds of any trapped air in the bottle. If you hate the sound of sloshing in your water bottles, this product is for you. The walls of the water bottle are constructed from plastic similar to what is used for hydration reservoirs. The result is a pliable bottle that is only as big as the amount of liquid it contains (up to 17 oz).  I run with a small hydration pack that has two pockets up front that I use… Full review

Smartwater Bottles

rated 4.5 of 5 stars I switched from Nalgene to disposable water bottles for most (3+ season) trips. If you go that route, the Smartwater bottles are the sturdiest disposables out there except for Gatorade/Powerade, but have some distinct advantages over those brands. They are my regular water bottle on the majority of trips and haven't let me down, and at least let me reuse, rather than just recycle, if I have to buy bottled water sometimes. Note that there is a recognized health risk associated with reuse of disposable… Full review

Klean Kanteen 27oz Classic

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Excellent thermos, durable. If you want a thermos that keeps liquid cold a long time, buy this one with confidence. I found I can use less ice (1/4 to 1/2 full) and have more available water since I don't have to wait for ice to melt. After purchasing I also bought the sports cap to make drinking easier. This thermos is taking a beating and has performed admirably. One note of caution, you might as well buy the stainless steel finish, as the painted finish wears off. In my opinion it is too heavy… Full review

Nalgene 32 oz Wide Mouth Tritan

rated 5 of 5 stars Best water bottle period! This is the only water bottle brand me and my family uses for everything. We have about 6 or 7 floating around the house. Saving the environment, we never buy bottled water anymore. This water bottle is compatible with my MSR water filter system. I use this bottle hiking. I also have found another use for it! Before I go to bed when camping I fill it with boiling water and put it in the foot of my sleeping bag, instant heater that keeps me warm all night. Sometimes I lie… Full review

Klean Kanteen Unisex Stainless Steel Sport Cap Bottle

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Lightweight, robust water bottle with good volume. Great water bottle, high strength, lightweight, high volume, strong, good water flow with the included sport cap. I don't like how the valve leaks sometimes though when the bottle is on its side. I really have to watch where I put it so it doesn't soak my gear.    Full review

Platypus plusBottle

rated 3.5 of 5 stars I sometimes use the Platypus plusBottle as a flask. Great for extra water on day hikes or road trips, very compact, not bulky and has been useful on many overnight camping trips. Bottle did not burst when I hiked into higher elevation, (thank god) but it did expand. I currently own other Platypus products (Platypus Big Zip 2L & 3L bladder and I love it), so that's why I was more inclined to by the same brand's products. I initially bought this bottle for an extra supply of water. It kinda turned… Full review

Nalgene 32 oz Wide Mouth Tritan

rated 5 of 5 stars Best water bottle on the market. For daily drinking or hiking, camping, or picnicking you can't go wrong. I use two on backpacking trips. I have never had a problem with carrying them. Other bottles seem to fall out of my pack. But not these, and the wide mouth fits any pump style system. I use two of them to even my pack load out. I have dropped one off a cliff about 30 or more feet. And it did't break! I've busted Camelbak bottles dropping them at home. Full review
