"The lightweight, 10-point Austri Alpin Neve Crampon is ideal for basic glacier travel and alpine approaches. These rear-clip crampons fit onto any boot with a rear bail notch, allowing you to utilize lightweight boots at times when full mountaineering boots would be too much. The 10-point design gives the Neve excellent traction on firm snow and very low-angle ice, along with allowing the occasional front-point move.
