Evolv continues its commitment to quality with the Demorto Climbing Shoe. Thanks to a symmetrical build, rock gurus with longer second toes won't find themselves weeping at a nubby crux. Super sticky Trax XT-5 rubber sticks to just about everything, and thick heel ridges add some hooking power for your more acrobatic maneuvers.

Newly redesigned for 2011, the Demorto retains its status as the ultimate performance trad shoe that provides both comfort and an excellent fit. The Demorto is specifically designed with a rounded toe profile to accommodate climbers with Morton's toe (2nd toe longer than big toe). The ideal all-purpose shoe for any climber with Morton's toe.

The Evolv Demorto is hands down the best Symmetrical toe profile performance shoe on the market. Evolv created the Demorto based on the requests from climbers who desired a symmetrical toe profile high performance shoe but were frustrated that almost all of the symmetrical shoes currently available were entry level shoes. Anyone with Morton?s foot (longer 2nd toe) or climbers who prefer a more symmetrical toe box will love this shoe. The molded TRAX XT-5 outsole was engineered to have variable thickness gradients of the sole to conform to the foot and provide perfect anatomical support and sensitivity where needed. The molded sole is thinner in the arch section for better arch fit and ridged and thicker in the heel section for mild cushioning and the full length midsole underneath enhances edging power.Medium stiffness midsole for added supportBreathable tongue and perforated upper to keep cool.SPECS:PROFILE: Symmetrical (KSA-1)SOLE: TRAX XT-5 high friction outsoleRAND: VTR RandUPPER: Synthetic (non-stretch Synthetic upper)LINING: Microfiber (balance of comfort and performance)MIDSOLE: MX-P 2mm stiff full-length midsole.
