The Kahtoola KTS Steel crampon is a flexible crampon designed for use on rocky, uneven, icy terrain where the longer points will provide additional traction. The Kahtoola Traction System (KTS) fits over all types of common footwear including running shoes, hiking boots, snowboarding boots, ski boots, and more. Straps and quick-release buckles on both the toe and collapsible heel pieces make the KTS easy to adjust. Totally flexible and adjustable, thanks to Kahtoola's patented LeafSpring extender bar. The LeafSpring extender bar flexes naturally with all your footwear. Made from two layers of stainless spring steel, this innovation connects the toe and heel pieces, offering tool-free adjustment. Ten 1-inch points allow natural stride, reduce snagging and snow-packing. Front points are 10 degrees open for optimal performance with flexible footwear. Weight: 23.3 oz.
