rated 5 of 5 stars The Necky Looksha 12 is well designed and the right size for us. My wife and I are in our early 50s and we started kayaking in the spring of 2014. The Necky Looksha 12 is a quality designed and built product that has a good blend of features that work for us. The 12s are big enough that we won't outgrow them and small enough to store and transport. The two compartments are big enough to carry gear for overnight trips. rated 5 of 5 stars This is an excellent boat that tracks well, and has excellent primary and secondary stability. My wife and I use them along the New England Coastline fairly close to shore and in the bays and estuaries. The skegs work extremely well on windy days or in currents. My wife and I love these boats. rated 4.5 of 5 stars    I do not claim to be a seasoned kayaker, but I have spent a lot of time on the water in the two years that I have been kayaking. I have used kayaks by wilderness systems, old town, necky, and perception. The kayaks that I have used have ranged in lengths from 9 to 16 feet.    My favorite kayak so far is the Necky RIP.
