EM Trail M2

rated 3.5 of 5 stars A very comfortable trail runner. Suitable for most off road running, but really shines on gravel road and softer trails. Great for a beginner looking for a cushy ride. Shoe runs a little small so sizing up isn't a bad idea (especially when it keeps your toes from hitting the box on downhills!). Almost a sock-like feel due to upper construction.  Very comfortable trail running shoe right out of the box, pretty much zero break-in time. Did get rocks and other debris in shoe, but it's a tradeoff from… Full review

P.R.O Fly Evo Pullover

rated 4.5 of 5 stars It stops ALL wind, all snow, keeps out a surprising amount of the cold, breathes exceedingly well, sheds light rain, and, if it gets wetted out in a heavier rain, it drys quickly. It has more reflective trim than anything I have ever seen. It is durable. Great for biking or running in cool to cold weather, especially in cities where lighting is not good at night. Highly recommended. This really is almost the miracle outer layer for bikers (and I hear that runners like it too). It is so thin, it… Full review

PRO Softshell Lobster Glove

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The Pearl Izumi Lobster Glove is an insulated, wind and waterproof split-fingered glove that combines the warmth of a mitt with the dexterity of a glove. After many years of use, primarily as a cyclist, I've found them to be a great piece of clothing for other uses. Fourteen years ago I was an avid road biker, riding in all four seasons, as long as roads were passable. This caused me to ride many days in sub-freezing temperatures. Enter the Pearl Izumi Lobster Gloves. I would regularly ride using… Full review

Peak XC

rated 2.5 of 5 stars I race in Xterra Tri's and have used the Salomon XA Pro's for the last few years. I decided to give these a shot to mix it up. They are extremely light and fantastic for your interval runs on a treadmill or road. As soon as I got onto trails that involved scrambling, climbing and downhills I felt like I was going to bust right out of them. Minimal lateral support was the problem (in my opinion). This does not make for an aggressive trail running shoe that involves dodging rocks, negotiating scree… Full review

syncroSEEK 2

rated 4 of 5 stars I own two pairs of syncroSeek 2s. I run a lot of rocky, root-covered, hilly, single-track in northern Kentucky, and the syncroSeek 2s are my normal "long distance" shoes when it comes to trails. While heavier than the inov-8s I also run in, the syncroSeek2s are supportive and protective for longer distance sessions or events. I recently used both pairs to complete the Dances With Dirt 50-mile trail race in Gnaw Bone, Indiana. I changed shoes and socks at the 24.5 mile aid station, giving each pair… Full review
