Carrying safety equipment has never been so easy. The Micro Traxion from Petzl is a small, light, and efficient progressive capture pulley. Weighing only 85g and accepting ropes 8-11mm, the Micro Traxion works effectively on frozen or dirty ropes making it ideal for cravasse rescue, an emergency ascender, or for hauling gear. In its normal setting, rope can be pulled one way through the device and the cam locks the rope from moving back the other way, but the Micro Traxion has a feature that locks the camming device in the open position so it can also be used as a regular pulley.
