Fozzils Bowlz Set

rated 4.5 of 5 stars A nice, light way to pack flat in your pack and to have something nicer than a rock to eat off of. Relative to its price, it's a decent piece of gear. In use with a great meal of African cassava leaves and dried smoked minnows! Ease of Use: The Fozzils bowl/plate is easy to use. It has four snaps that lock folds into place to create a bowl that is sturdy enough to hold a full meal. It is also able to hold liquids and soups successfully with its design. When you're finished eating, it wipes down… Full review

Sea to Summit X-Bowl

rated 3.5 of 5 stars This bowl folds flat to slip easily into your pack. It extends up well and holds its shape, but it gets hot to touch on the sides and loses its heat quickly. This bowl folds flat to slip easily into your pack. It extends up well and holds its shape, but it gets hot to touch on the sides and loses its heat quickly. The bottom, however, is made out of sturdy stuff, so sturdy the plate version s advertised as being used as a cutting board. You can do that with this one too as long as the stuff you… Full review

Sea to Summit X-Set 2-Piece

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Unique and innovative products that fill the niche of collapsible dishware, this two-piece set includes the X-Bowl and X-Mug. This is a good solution to increasing the size of your soloist cookset in order to accommodate additional companions, without significantly increasing occupancy inside your packed spaces. Specs X-Bowl:  5” dia. (though I measured 6”) x 2.25” tall, 650 ml capacity, 2.9 oz. The bottom is solid and can be used as a small cutting board. X-Mug: 4.5” dia. x 3.25” tall,… Full review

GSI Outdoors Thrive 1 Person Set

rated 4 of 5 stars This is a basic set of dish, bowl, cup, and utensils, which comes in a mesh carry bag. It is designed to facilitate eating with the dish on your lap. It is a nice little set, which while probably not the most durable, serves us well for car and canoe camping. After years of using a hodgepodge of eating utensils and cups and plates, I decided to get some new stuff to go with our new GSI insulated mugs...( see my review of the mugs). I checked out GSI products, and found a great sale on this set. Full review

Light My Fire Outdoor Meal Kit

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Great set, complete, and easy to carry I love my Meal Kit. It has all I need and is easy to grab and go. The harness makes it easy to hang on my pack via the clip for easy and quick access. I really like that the cup has a "sip" lid so that I can wander around camp without worrying about spilling. MSR Alpine Bowl

rated 4.5 of 5 stars It is a stainless steel boil. Dang near bullet proof. I have had mine for two years now and I bought it used on eBay. It is a great, strong bowl. I even use it at home.  Full review

Orikaso Bowl

rated 5 of 5 stars Innovative, excellent product for the backpacker. I have used this product since 2008. I purchased two from REI at a clearance price of $2.34 each. I have used this wonderful bowl on all my backpacking trips.  What is to love about this product?  The material. The material is durable, extremely durable, and easy to clean, very easy to clean. The capacity is just right for "cup" of tea, or a bowl of soup, cereal, noodles, whatever.  The design is ingenious. Simply fold and tuck the three tabs… Full review

Sea to Summit X-Set 2-Piece

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Probably the most compact way to increase the capacity of your outdoor kitchen! So I was just messaging a fellow TS member and I remembered I should do a review of one of my favorite pieces of outdoor kitchen gear...the STS X-set. To be clear...I only have the mug and bowl. The larger set comes with a plate that nests with both the mug and bowl...but I find plates as useless as forks outdoors...and the plate makes it so the set will only nest with the largest of outdoor cookware. Speaking of nesting…that… Full review

Fozzils Soloist Set

rated 4 of 5 stars A lightweight, easy alternative to having nesting bowls and mugs. I haven't encountered anything negative worth writing down. Whether you are camping alone or with a partner, the Fozzils Soloist Set is a great option for a lightweight eating set. I've used these on half a dozen camping trips, as well as trekked them across Europe and I haven't been let down yet.  Obviously the first thing is has going for it is that you get THREE pieces: a mug, a bowl and a deep dish plate (which I will normally… Full review
