- Sierra Designs
Falling somewhere between a hotel and a bivy sack, the Sierra Designs Mirage 2 Two-Person Three-Season Tent is all about helping you enjoy a weekend outdoors when traveling light and packing small aren't really issues. The Mirage is basically two rooms--a rear compartment that easily fits two people and an enormous front vestibule/screen-porch that works as a kitchen, bug shelter, shady spot, bike garage, and gear storage area. There's an additional rear vestibule too, just in case. The polyester body sports almost countless vents and zippered mesh windows, while you can zip out the divider between the sleeping area and the vestibule if you really want to open things up. If things get a little rainy, the PU-coated fly rolls out to cover up all the mesh area, while the window covers zip up quickly to make sure your things stay dry. A whole mess of pockets keeps your things safe and off the ground, while reflective trim prevents you from tripping over your tent in the middle of the night and bringing the whole thing crashing to the ground.
