Ambit3 Peak Sapphire

rated 5 of 5 stars A terrific durable all purpose watch for whatever activity you happen to be into. I used a AMBIT 3 PEAK SAPPHIRE HR for this review. So I used a Ambit 3 Peak Saphhire HR for this review. The non-saphhire Peak model is a little tiny bit less durable, and fashionable but otherwise the same. The sport model is the same operating system but is less accurate for altitude. The run is just a timepiece with the run function pre-programed into the watch with no adjustments.  Overall I love this watch. Flipping… Full review

M-3D Leader Compass

rated 5 of 5 stars This is a great compass and may be your lifesaver. It is compact, non-electronic, luminous, magnifier lens, and has the ability to adjust for the regional declination. This could be your lifesaver when you need it the most (lost, injured). Suunto is a primo leader in compasses. Combine it with your GPS system and with your maps and you should be able to keep out of trouble in the outdoors.   It is a high quality product from a leader in the field. I highly recommend the compass and I highly recommend… Full review

Arrow 20

rated 4 of 5 stars Simple, effective baseplate compass with fast-settling needle. I purchased the Suunto Arrow-20 for general wilderness navigation and occasional orienteering events. The Arrow-20 is a conventional baseplate compass fitted with a millimeter scale and an oddball 1:15,000 map scale (probably intended for maps commonly used in orienteering competition). Circular and triangle cut-outs in the baseplate allow the orienteer racer to pencil in control markings on the map.   The Arrow-20 has a large rectangular… Full review

M-3D Leader Compass

rated 5 of 5 stars The Suunto M-3D Leader Compass simply meets my detailed traditional requirements for use with my USGS Quad topo maps and my Garmin eTrex Venture HC hand held GPS (that is still available for about $100.00) for hiking on trail, off trail, scrambling and for bagging peaks in summer and sketchy winter weather. It is great for snowshoers, skiers, snowmobile riders, hunters and horsemen! The Suunto M-3D Leader Compass simply meets my detailed traditional requirements! Here is why: 1. A reasonably long,… Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars I recently purchased this watch for a hunting/trek in August. I was not disappointed. This watch is perfect for any outdoor person wether an outdoor adventurer/military/law enforcement. The watch is easy to use and compare to several other outdoor watches this watch super-cedes all. It is large, the buttons are easy to use and it took me about 2 days to master it. It has a gps, barometer/altimeter, several countdown timers, can change from a black face to grey face. Overall I'm using this watch… Full review
