Solar Photon 2

rated 3.5 of 5 stars This is a great tent for people who require reliable protection from the elements and are willing to trade interior space for weight. It's been amazing in all weather conditions we've put it in. Don't be fooled by the amazingly light fabric; the seams are well sewn and the fabric is tougher than it feels. On hot buggy nights, the tent (without fly) provides skeeter protection while still allowing a silhouetted view of the sky. This tent performs well in Pacific Northwest weather: we've used it on… Full review

rated 0.5 of 5 stars I have had this tent the Terra Nova Voyager for just under a year now, mostly taken out in fair weather. I decided to camp on top of Pen-y-fan 11/04/15. The wind conditions were moderate to strong at the time, but with this being rated a 4-season tent I was confident it would withstand the weather being thrown at it, but boy was I wrong. The arch pole over the door kept being blown back onto the tent and me inside all night. Despite being pitched correctly the result in the morning was a broken… Full review

Ultra Quasar

rated 5 of 5 stars The best two-man tent in the world? What can I say about the TNQ that hasn't already been said! Is it the best two-man tent in the world? Probably. I owned mine for about 10 years and it never, ever let me down. Torrential rain, blizzards, howling gales, the lot, it dealt with it all without a single hitch. The build quality is outstanding mainly due to the fabrics TN choose to use. You really couldn't rip one if you tried. If you are travelling and camping in an extreme location and you know you… Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars I wholeheartedly recommend this tent for 3-4 season backpacking use, particularly in foul or unpredictable weather. This tent is bombproof — excellent wind and rain resistance, and well ventilated to prevent condensation. Not an ultralight tent by any means, but an acceptable weight for backpacking when you take into consideration the stregths of this tent for rough weather camping. When my old LL Bean dome tent bit the dust (more due to being stored in a damp basement, than from overuse, unfortunately),… Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars Had my Quasar a long time, one of two TN tents I own (Solar 2). I've used this wildcamping in the Lakes in some pretty breezy weather, and this thing hardly moves if guyed out properly. It's not great when it warms up as there isn't much ventilation, but that's not what this tent is for. I completely trust this tent, and if the weather is going to be bad, this is the tent I'll take.
