Trekking Medium Weight Socks

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Excellent pair of technical socks that keep feet (mostly) dry! Having a good outdoors experience greatly depends on the boots you're wearing. I believe that boots comprise 80% and socks the rest 20% of this experience. And 20% is a lot... No matter how breathable your boot/shoe may be your comfort still relies on the direct-to-skin component: your sock. Your skin breathes, even when you're standing still, let alone hiking. 960 Guide GT RR

rated 5 of 5 stars Simply put, I'll buy them again. These rank among the best backpacking boots I've ever owned. rated 3.5 of 5 stars I bought at REI. I hike in the mountains with approximately 20 miles per week. I would not purchase because they do not seal well at the top of the boot. Full review

For the money these boots should have held up much better. First, to put my experience into context, I am 6'3" and 240 LBS (not obese!) and walk or hike in the Massachusetts woods and White Mountains, usually six to eight miles per day (now that I… Full review

310 Skill GT

rated 3.5 of 5 stars One piece of Italian leather for the upper? Yes please! However, they had to be resold in less than one year and I don't even do much more than day hiking. Full review
