Manufacturer's Description

The Alpini Alps Sleeping Bag is built for those who sleep cool, or whose outdoor plans include a taste of winter. With a well insulated pad (alpini sleeping pad) and 850-fill down it is easy to be comfortable in this bag well below freezing (32° F/0° C), although we rate it more conservatively for mid teens, +15° F (-9° C). Contrarily, its lightness keeps it comfortable even when temps are in the +40s (F).

- Sierra Trading Post

The Alpini 15 Sleeping Bag from Brooks-Range is built for those who plan to sleep outside where it's cold and colder. With a well insulated pad (the Alpini sleeping pad) it is easy to be warm in this bag, especially for those hardy souls who enjoy camping in the middle of winter (15 F, -9 C). The secret to the warmth of the Alpini 15 sleeping bag is using offset baffles for maximum insulation efficiency with 850+ fill goose down sandwiched between lightweight Pertex Quantum fabric. This allows the down to loft completely yet remain protected from the elements.
