Jump into the highly maneuverable Hurricane Kayaks Tracer 165 kayak and enjoy the simplicity of having all you need for the journey within easy reach. Trylon thermoformed ABS plastic hull material is stiff and light like traditional composite kayaks and offers similar looks, but costs considerably less. Responsive handling, precise turns, effortless tracking and smooth glide make the Tracer 165 a joy to take out for extended trips. Weighing in at 50 lbs., the Tracer 165 offers substantial weight savings over similar rotomolded kayaks. Large hatches and watertight bulkheads keep your touring gear dry and secure; hatches use a flexible plastic to create a seal similar to food-storage containers. Adjustable back band ensures a comfortable experience in the cockpit, and touring-style seat pan offers padded support. Slightly elongated cockpit makes it easy to enter and exit the kayak. Adjustable footbraces and padded foam thighbraces keep the fit comfortable. Drop-down skeg enhances tracking and helps prevent weathercocking in strong winds; skeg controls are located to the right of the cockpit. Bow and stern deck rigging keeps extra gear within easy reach. Carry handles on bow and stern ease transport to and from the water.
