Eastman Outdoors Food Dehydrator

rated 0.5 of 5 stars This dehydrator takes waaaaay too long for fruit or meat. I would not recommend it at all. Be sure you do your homework on finding out which dehydrator is the best one. My wife bought me an Eastman for Christmas 2014, but by the time I got to use it and found out it took waaaaay too long to dehydrate fruit or meat, even though I still had the receipt I couldn't return it to the store. I called Eastman they were kind enough to send a postage paid address to mail back. I thought maybe I had got a… Full review

Grilliput

rated 4 of 5 stars Great little grill, compact and lightweight Great little grill for 1 to 2 people, compact and lightweight (1.2lbs). Did I mention compact? You won't find another grill that isn't bulky. The bars for the top of the grill are a little flimsy, but strong enough to hold anything you want to cook. If you're looking for a grill that packs small, you won't find another. Paired with the FireBowl it's the perfect little grill. Full review

Keith KP6001 Multifunctional Outdoor Titanium Chain

rated 3 of 5 stars A lightweight accessory useful for those who wish to hold a pot at adjustable heights over a fire or bed of coals. Three short titanium chains end in stainless clips that attach to the rim of most pots; a longer central chain connecting to these three chains allows one to suspend the pot connected to the shorter chains over a fire. Collectively, this chain gives one greater control over cooking, boiling, or simmering than does a grill when cooking over an open fire. It has predictable stability… Full review

Fishpond Drifter Boat Cooler

rated 4 of 5 stars This is a good quality semi-soft cooler that is large enough to fit enough food and drinks for a weekend kayak or canoe trip. The molded bottom is rigid enough to give the cooler form and prevent leakage into and out of the bottom of the cooler but also flexible so that the cooler can be crammed into a kayak hatch. The Fishpond Drifter Boat Cooler is a good quality semi-soft cooler that is large enough to fit enough food and drinks for a weekend. I purchased it because it was short and rectangular… Full review

P-38 U.S. Military Can Opener

rated 5 of 5 stars Indestructible, handy. Opens any size can, seconds as a flat tip screwdriver, opens paint cans using the flat side to pry the tops off, like a can of Johnsons paste wax. All military personnel have shined floors with that stuff... Civilian version is much larger and able to apply force easier. Full review

P-38 U.S. Military Can Opener

rated 5 of 5 stars P-38 I have a P-38 on every keychain I own. Some I bought and some were included in cases of C rations from the early '70s. The are ALMOST indestructible and having one can be very useful in the field or in the office. Get one and learn to use it. Full review

P-38 U.S. Military Can Opener

rated 5 of 5 stars Swiss army of the can openers. Actually, it was a gift from a fellow eBay seller many years ago. I've kept it all these years in a slit like pocket of Leatherman Core's cordura pouch. Since it is relatively small and almost two-dimensional when folded, it can be carried in anywhere. It's been a long time since I dropped my canned food from my backpack, but hey, you never know when an unexpected grab-and-go trip happens and all you can do is buy a few canned food from the market and go. They are… Full review

MSR PanHandler Pot Lifter

rated 5 of 5 stars Just a little item, but one that makes camp stove cooking a bit easier. Used it primarily with Jetboil stove, so pots with long handles affixed can be easily knocked off, and make the stove off-balance. This works well with handle-less pots. We have come to rely on our canister stove for canoe camping...we also have begun to use small pots (in addition to the pot/mug that comes with the stove). We found that pots with large handles tended to get "tippy" on the stove, and were easily knocked off… Full review

Coleman Camp Stove Toaster

rated 3 of 5 stars Used this product for years to toast bread. Must be patient. Would recommend. I've been using this product for years. Toast for breakfast is a nice luxury.┬áIf you want toast I would recommend to start this process first thing as it will take at least ten minutes. You will need to keep watch as it is easy to burn the bread. It takes up very little storage space. It is very easy to use. Don't let the lightness fool you -- it does work. Once you use it a couple of times you'll learn how much heat… Full review
