Chicken Teriyaki with Rice Pro-Pak

rated 2.5 of 5 stars A quick and filling meal for a backpacking adventure. Could be a little tastier My son and I took this item on a backpacking adventure to use as our dinner. I like the fact that the item is vacuum packed and dried so it weighs almost nothing. It uses boiling water to re-hydrate and prepare so that makes it a snap. It was a simple process to prepare this meal and I was looking forward to it. However, when I opened the packaging it was LOADED with RED PEPPERS!!! Why is it that manufactures insist… Full review

Sweet & Sour Pork with Rice Pro-Pak

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Seems to really hit the spot when you're cold, hungry, and tired. I initially had low expectations, but after heating it up I was surprised how good it tasted. Sure this isn't gourmet food, but after a long, cold day it exceeded my expectations. Neither my wife nor I are particularly picky eaters, so we were both rather pleased. This allowed me to travel so much lighter I have decided there's no way I will EVER go back to the old way for that trip!!! This particular breakfast was surprisingly… Full review

Chicken a la King & Noodles

rated 5 of 5 stars Shy of taking your mother with you on the trail, and having her cook for you and your friends in camp, this is the single best freeze-dried meal I've eaten by this brand or any other. With the same praise-garnering egg noodles used in the MH lasagna and stroganoff, it elevates itself above elbow mac or spaghetti. The chicken is plentiful and sits sturdily in a cream-based sauce that binds these together with a medley of flavorful and varied vegetables. This is, without question, my favorite meal… Full review
