Don't compromise comfort for fast and light alpine ascents; the Scarpa Women's Triolet Pro GTX Mountaineering Boot provides both. Its Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane gives this boot guaranteed waterproof protection that can keep your foot dry across all four seasons, and it remains highly breathable so your foot doesn't freeze in its own sweat. The Tri-Flex ankle provides a natural articulation so you can scramble comfortably, but the boot still gives you the support you need to climb and hike over tricky terrain. Scarpa built the Triolet's last with a narrow heel and broad forefoot for a women-specific fit. It closely follows the contours of your foot to allow technical and precise footwork while you climb, but it isn't radically asymmetric and carries a medium volume. Suede Pro HS12 Perwanger leather makes up the Triolet's upper to keep the boot surprisingly durable for how lightweight it is. The Pro-Fiber insole offers a generous amount of support and comfort to keep you on your feet for a long time, and the EVA midsole utilizes a PU heel insert to provide excellent shock absorption. You'll feel secure with your footing over slippery surfaces thanks to the grippy Vibram TT Lite sole, and semi-automatic crampon compatibility lets you quickly take your crampons on and off in ever-changing terrain.
