As one of two tandems in Wilderness's entire lineup, the Northstar is longer than most touring boats. Capable of accommodating two paddlers of varying skill levels, the sleek hull offers a silky-smooth feel in the water and the storage space needed for expedition-style touring. Tough polyethylene construction offers high performance and rugged durability. Phase3(TM) high-back seats allow you to easily adjust recline, back height and thigh support. Seats can be adjusted on the fly to relieve fatigue on long trips or locked in to improve performance. Cockpit includes molded thighbraces. Retractable rudder improves tracking and maneuvering capabilities of kayak; rudder is deployed and controlled from stern seat.
