Rayzar Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars Excellent technical jacket, mostly aimed at backcountry/off-piste skiers, but be aware when purchasing, as jacket underwent big changes over a few iterations. First, as of 2015, Cloudveil is still in business, but their flagship store in Jackson Hole, Wyoming closed, and they no longer seem to manufacture much of anything. Perhaps they will bring this jacket back, but it's more likely you're going to find it on a closeout, or used. Before you get too far, you need to know that this jacket went through… Full review

Serendipity Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars Outstanding quality from a great company. One of the best garments I have ever purchased. This jacket is made out of Shoeller Dryskin Extreme, and both durable, comfortable, and has a wide temperature range, and very good breathability, while blocking about 95% of the wind. While not waterproof, it will repel a lot of water and takes a while to get soaked through. In fact, compared to Gore-Tex (which is barely breathable), my experience is that it would be more likely that I would be more wet from… Full review

RPK Pant

rated 5 of 5 stars Perfect companion for RPK Jacket. There pants are a perfect companion to an RPK Jacket. Like the jacket, the Gore-Tex softshell fabric is comfortable and extremely durable. I have never gotten wet even in wet snowstorms or spring slop. I love the utility pocket. They can be worn is a huge variety of temperatures due to the long side vents. As a disclaimer, I am affiliated with Gore for product testing of Gore-tex products for the purpose of product review and recommendation. I do receive items from… Full review

RPK Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars Great snow sport jacket. This is a nearly perfect jacket for snowsports. The Gore-Tex softshell fabric is comfortable and extremely durable. I have never gotten wet even in wet snowstorms or spring slop. I couldn't ask for any more pockets. They are perfectly placed to work with a pack. The only item that might be considered a negative is the powder skirt isn't removable. This would make it a little more versatile as an everyday jacket. As a disclaimer, I am affiliated with Gore for product testing… Full review

RPK Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars The Cloudveil RPK is a softshell jacket. It was the company's use of softshell that attracted me to the RPK jacket. Out of the box, the RPK is a totally quality product, exactly what I would expect from Cloudveil. The fabric is sturdy and somewhat stiff. It’s a moderate weight that’s appropriate for alpine skiing in all but the harshest conditions. The RPK has plenty of pockets, both exterior and interior, including lined handwarmers, napoleon, and a mesh goggle pocket on the interior. The hood… Full review
