With the BCX 675 , Fischer has responded to the gear gap for backcountry skiing. With new, fun skis appearing on the market every year, there has been a lack of good boots to drive those skis to their redline. They are either too wimpy, or plastic overkill. The BCX 675 has the downhill power of the beautiful, hand made, all leather boots of past decades. But with modern technology, you no longer feel like you are skiing with a cast on your foot. The height provides lateral support when carving turns, or balancing a heavy pack on a steep traverse. The hinged cuff allows for fluid and less restricted forward motion. Ergonomic inner boot for comfort and control, water-repellent and Thinsulate insulated outer boot for protection against the elements. Good 'ol 75mm "three-pin" Vibram soles. Once a "pinner", always a "pinner"! Confused about the sizing? Check out our Shoe Sizing Comparison Chart . - OMCgear
