A nice option to have for those who are looking for an insole that provides great arch support. They are MUCH less expensive than shelling out the cash for custom orthotics. I have pretty severe foot problems and the Superfeet Green insoles have allowed me to continue my active lifestyle.

Back in 2008, I suffered a pretty bad injury to my left foot, commonly known as a Lisfranc Fracture. It is named after a French doctor who described the injury in 1815 when riders would fall off their horse with their foot stuck in the stirrup. It's a fracture of the midfoot coupled with the rupture of ligaments. The injury is also common in American Football, with players such as Dwight Freeney, Maurice Jones Drew, and Santonio Holmes having suffered the injury. Sadly, I did not play American Football and could not have afforded the expertise of doctors such as Dr.

When you buy a boot, ya gotta buy an insole. The money goes into the boot and not the insole, so it can mean the difference between an adequate boot and a great comfortable fit. Matching up the insole to the boot can be the most critical part of your boot system.

I hike in Keens and everything is great, except a couple incidents where I had heel slippage on the ups and toe smacks on the downs. I decided to get Superfeet and was worried about the fact once I got them, I was stuck with them, or I would have to buy a new set and try them out too. But REI encouraged me to spend a lot of time walking around in the store with them in my boots. So I did. Like 40 minutes. After comparing the various ones I selected the Berry. Not too much arch, which I need to be careful of but it was just enough to snug down my heel in the back.

Great comfort and stability while hiking in all conditions.

I started using these footbeds three years ago when I purchased a lighter weight hiking shoe. These footbeds have carried me all over the Long Trail. Fit: Can be cut to fit any shoe. I did trim the front toe area a little. Comfort: No break in needed. Support: Supports the arch and pads the heel and toe areas nicely. Water Resistance: My lighter hiking shoes do let water in, but these insoles dry quickly, actually don't soak up water so not much to dry. Temp Control: Seems fine in cool or hot weather. Feet are happy. Durability: No problems. They have held up over some tough hikes for three years. Conditions: I hike in mud, rain, sleet and sun on the Long Trail in Vt., which is very rocky and muddy all over.

Put these in a pair of Timberland hiking boots that I could never get to fit correctly. They were strange at first but they made the boots suddenly fit correctly. They were no longer overly tight through the middle of my foot. But they also felt like the arch was too far back. The arch hits right in front of the heel. Read the instructions after wearing them for a day and it says: 1. the arch will feel like its too far back, it is supposed to be right in front of your heel 2. get your feet used to them by only wearing for a few hours a day the first few days My feet are now used to the insoles and I love them.

These are by far the best Insoles I have ever owned, and I have had most on the market! You cannot beat these for customizable foot and back protection!

So when I ran across these looking for insoles for my new trail running shoes I thought, “are these really what I am looking for?” Well, after 10 miles in these, I will unequivocally say ABSOLUTELY! These insoles are customizable, made possible by baking them in your oven at 235 degrees F for 10 minutes, throwing them in your shoes, and walking around in your shoes for 20-30 minutes.

The first week in these insoles was quite different. I could feel the muscles on the outside of my feet working, and I had to limit the wear time to avoid soreness. I am a moderate pronator and have a LOT of miles on my feet and legs, particularly for someone who isn't all that old yet. But once I adapted, WOW. The difference is staggering. In a year I have not once sprained or even tweaked an ankle (this used to be a monthly occurrence), and my feet feel SO much better after epic hikes.

Remind's new product line is the best out there. I have all of them in every pair of shoe. My feet have never felt so comfortable. I am a customer for life.
